Strengthening Military Readiness Through Research, Training, and Innovation
A healthy, resilient, and mission-ready force is essential to military readiness. As operational demands change, military leaders must address challenges that affect service members’ health, performance, readiness, and quality of life. They need practical solutions based on evidence, timely information they can put into action, and technology and data that support sound decisions across military communities worldwide.
For decades, AIR researchers and technical assistance professionals have partnered with the military and organizations that serve the military to turn evidence into real-world action. We strengthen the systems, skills, and supports that help service members, families, and military communities thrive.
With strong personal connections to the military, I am honored to give back through work that helps the military to build and evaluate prevention efforts, shifting the culture from reacting to harm to proactively strengthening health and readiness for service members and their families.

Technical Assistance Consultant, Stars & Stripes Community Engagement Lead
Even strong military communities can struggle when staff do not have timely data, practical training, or support to carry out their work. AIR helps close these gaps. We work with military and civilian leaders to turn research into useful tools, training, and resources for making decisions in real-world settings.
For example, AIR has helped military clients develop proven prevention strategies and build staff skills through training and technical assistance. We also design and put into place data-driven tools and systems that help leaders monitor their work, track progress, and make informed decisions.

Military Connections Across AIR
AIR’s commitment to military communities goes beyond our project work. Stars and Stripes, AIR’s employee resource group for veterans, military spouses, and family members, helps create a workplace that values military experience and viewpoints. Members build their skills, take on leadership roles, engage with communities, and share knowledge.
These activities deepen AIR’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing people connected to the military. They also strengthen AIR’s commitment to support and work with military communities.
Multiple Pathways to Partner with AIR
AIR offers several contracting and partnership options that help military organizations more easily access research, training and technical assistance, evaluation, and technology services.
Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC)
AIR is a proud member of the MTEC. MTEC offers a simpler contracting process that helps clients access AIR’s full range of services to support innovation and military readiness.
One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+)
AIR holds a contract through OASIS+, a group of government contracts that helps federal agencies acquire complex professional services. OASIS+ gives agencies a flexible and efficient way to access AIR’s research, evaluation, workforce development, data and technology, and technical assistance.
