Jennifer Kahn
Jennifer Kahn is a public health professional whose work focuses on strengthening military readiness and well-being through evidence-informed prevention strategies, workforce development, and organizational capacity building. She provides training, technical assistance, and analytic support to the Department of Defense and military services on integrated approaches that promote resilience and operational readiness. Her expertise includes prevention planning, implementation, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and translating research and best practices into practical tools and resources for military leaders and civilian professionals.
At AIR, Kahn supports military clients through the development of training curricula, facilitation of virtual and in-person learning events, qualitative research, strategic planning, implementation support, and the creation of products that strengthen organizational capacity and prevention efforts. She has provided customized technical assistance and training to personnel across the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Navy Reserve and delivered cross-service prevention-related continuing education training.
Before joining AIR, Kahn served as a public health analyst with Headquarters Marine Corps, Marine and Family Programs Division, where she supported the development of prevention policy, evaluation frameworks, workforce expansion strategies, and enterprise-wide data collection and assessment efforts. She worked closely with military and civilian leaders to develop tools, guidance, and performance measures designed to strengthen program effectiveness and address factors that influence force health, readiness, and resilience. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Department of the Navy Civilian Service Commendation Medal.
