Danny Melendez is a technical assistance professional focusing on legal framework and labor inspection systems. She serves as country director for Honduras and as stakeholder coordinator for the Creating Opportunities to Strengthen Equity and Labor Rights for Women (COSER) project, which focuses on combatting gender discrimination at work, including underlying causes like unconscious bias. COSER is an innovative pilot program launching in the San Pedro Sula textile and apparel maquila sector.
Melendez leads and supervises projects in Honduras, creating effective collaborations with a variety of stakeholders and enhancing AIR's relationships with local partners.
With almost 30 years of experience as an attorney specializing in labor and administrative law, Melendez has held many roles managing diverse projects in regional legal firms.
