Ke Wang is a researcher at AIR, with expertise in education statistics, survey data analysis, and technical writing. She currently serves as task leader and quantitative analyst for the Annual Reports and Information Staff (ARIS) program, which provides specialized statistical support to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). In this role, she leads the development and production of multiple statistical reports, including: Condition of Education, a congressionally mandated report containing key indicators on all levels of education, labor force outcomes, and international comparisons; and Indicators of School Crime and Safety, an annual report using data from 13 data sources from multiple federal agencies to examine crime and safety in K-16 schools. Wang is also a lead quantitative analyst for the 2020 administration of School Survey on Crime and Safety (SSOCS). She specializes in data processing activities, reviews, and reporting including highly technical disclosure risk analysis and data perturbation.

Prior to joining AIR, she performed research and evaluation duties for national and local non-profit organizations that work with traditionally under-served students; she also worked as a research assistant on a large-scale, cross-national comparative study on middle-school mathematics instruction.
