Iszy Hirschtritt Licht

Iszy Hirschtritt Licht works on education projects with federal, state, and local agencies focused on expanding access to effective education interventions. Hirschtritt Licht has more than 10 years of experience managing communications and engagement strategies, and most recently has served as an engagement lead for REL Midwest. In this role, he creates engagement plans, develops blogs, documentaries, and infographics, and prepares resources for varied stakeholders. His communication and engagement techniques are informed by technical assistance experience working to translate data findings for students, teachers, and school leaders. He has facilitated data-informed conversations with diverse high school and district-level stakeholders to discuss opportunity gaps and expand access to safe and supportive school environments.

Hirschtritt Licht also has more than 10 years of experience in research and policy analysis, with a focus on quantitative analysis and quantitative evidence synthesis. He leads qualitative analysis for an Evaluation of Full Service Community Schools in Southeast Alaska and supports a quantitative evaluation of Future Farmers of America. Further, Hirschtritt Licht is a What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Certified Reviewer (Version 5.0) and conducts reviews for systematic review and meta-analysis projects focused on K-12 education, special education, work-based learning, and employment pathways. He is also supporting state education agencies to review local school district policies for alignment with state regulations.

Hirschtritt Licht is currently project director of an AIR Opportunity Fund project that trains doctoral students in methods for quantitative evidence synthesis.
