Erin Duckett
Erin Duckett is a TA consultant in the Workforce Program Area at AIR with over 15 years of experience in workforce development, with an emphasis on apprenticeship and sector partnerships. Duckett is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and coach with experience implementing and coaching apprenticeship expansion efforts. Her primary responsibilities fall under one of AIR’s apprenticeship technical assistance (TA) contracts which assists all 50 states and six U.S. territories in their expansion of registered apprenticeship. She leads coaching TA activities for this contract, including managing 12 TA coaches, completing grant risk assessments, designing and coordinating site visits, facilitating cohort calls, and designing webinars and other TA.
Duckett is also a member of the TA team for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Closing the Skills Gap Grant program for apprenticeship, where she serves as a SME and coaches 5 grantees. Erin’s other work at AIR includes helping states and regions implement, showcase, and highlight workforce development initiatives and sector strategies, and implementing Talent Pipeline Management efforts in various states, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
Prior to joining AIR, she was a senior analyst at Maher & Maher providing technical assistance and support to a variety of apprenticeship projects. She also served as a lead staff person for employer engagement, apprenticeship, and sector strategy development activities with the Michigan Workforce Development Agency.
