Landa Spingler

Landa Spingler takes a holistic approach to executing complex projects. With almost 20 years of project experience across multiple industries, including over a decade in business development, Spingler understands the critical role relationships play in the success of executing large-scale projects in research and evaluation and technical assistance. She has a proven ability to work cross-functionally across teams to ensure every project benefits from a well-coordinated, unified approach. Spingler excels at creating clear communication pathways that facilitate productive dialogue between clients, technical experts, and contractors.

Her educational background in graphic design and studio art equips her with a unique ability to integrate creativity into the technical and operational demands of project management. This creative foundation, combined with her certification from the Association for Proposal Management Professionals, allows Spingler to blend artistic insight and managerial precision, ensuring that projects are not only compliant but also communicated and disseminated in compelling ways. 

At AIR, her project experience has focused on federal clients including the National Center for Education Statistics, National Endowment for the Arts, and National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics. She serves as the project director for the National Assessment for Educational Progress (NAEP) Research and Development Program, which includes the NAEP Doctoral Internship Program, NAEP Data Training Workshops, and the management of various exploratory research studies for NAEP. She is also part of the National Arts Statistics and Evidence-based Reporting Center team for the NEA, which developed an indicator system and reports on the health and vitality of the arts in the U.S. 

Prior to joining AIR, Spingler served in administrative, business development, and marketing roles in commercial real estate development, construction management and architecture, and has worked in her own creative design consultancy, which supported small businesses and startups.
