Kathryn Barr

Senior Researcher

Kathryn Barr focuses on data collection management and operations. Throughout her career at AIR, she has provided support and expertise in all aspects of the data collection process: design, cognitive testing, implementation, documentation, training, post-processing, and analysis.

Currently, Barr is the project director for AIR’s support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services’ Public Libraries Survey (PLS). Her work on this includes managing all facets of the project, including staffing and budgeting. Her work on collecting PLS data includes oversight of the data collection process, help desk services to data reporters and development, oversight of the implementation of data post-processing, development of imputation specifications, and questionnaire development.

Barr also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute.
