Emily Isenberg

Emily Isenberg is a senior researcher at AIR. She has more than 15 years of experience in analyzing large-scale administrative and survey data, writing reports and technical memos, and working with federal statistical agencies. Dr. Isenberg provides expertise on nondegree credentials, adult education, and statistics and data analysis.

Dr. Isenberg currently works on the National Reporting System for Adult Education (NRS) in the U.S. Department of Education, where she leads the development of models used for setting state targets on outcome measures and oversees data review. She is a senior researcher for the National, Training, Education, and Workforce Survey (NTEWS), where she led certification and license taxonomy development and vocational certificate seeded sample work. 

Dr. Isenberg led creation of geography-based variables for the National Household Education Surveys Program (NHES) and is co-task lead for finance data for the Common Core of Data. Prior to joining AIR, she worked in the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Program at the U.S. Census Bureau.
