Daniela Zapata
Daniela Zapata is a principal researcher at AIR. A health economist by training, Dr. Zapata has more than 15 years of experience in the application of advanced econometric techniques for the evaluation of health care delivery models. Dr. Zapata is also an experienced manager having served as project director or principal investigator in a variety of projects since 2013. She has led multidisciplinary teams in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and in integrating both streams of work to present rich descriptions of findings.
Dr. Zapata's peer- reviewed research applies cutting-edge econometric approaches and has been published in policy relevant outlets. She has presented her work to a variety of national and international audiences including policy makers, academic and researchers, and various stakeholders.
