Health and Human Services Secretary Releases Statement on LGBT Health Awareness Week

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius released a statement last week in recognition of National LGBT Health Awareness Week, March 26-30, which promoted efforts across the country that support the health needs of LGBT Americans.

AIR operates several initiatives that provide resources to professionals to help them become more culturally and linguistically attuned to the needs of LGBT children/youth and their families, including the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Two-Spirit (LGBTQI2-S) Learning Community and the National Workgroup to Address the Needs of Children and Youth Who Are LGBTQI2-S and Their Families.
