SHRM State of HR Education Study

AIR is working with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) to better understand and strengthen the current state of education and career preparedness in Human Resources. To support this goal, AIR has identified and defined key issues in HR education such as the types of degrees that are offered and conferred, the breadth and depth of the HR curricula, and the internship and experiential learning activities that are required to graduate from HR degree programs. AIR continues to collaborate with SHRM to conduct a longitudinal study of HR program graduates’ employment status, potential for career advancement, and factors related to HR graduates who pursue non-HR careers.
