Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-related Statistics
The Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics, a working group of 15 federal agencies, provides information to the public and policy-makers on the financial, physical, social, and psychological well-being of America’s seniors.
AIR supports the Forum’s activities in
- expanding access to information on these populations through annual reports (including the flagship Older Americans: Key Indicators of Well-Being report);
- coordinating the development and use of statistical databases among federal agencies • Identify information gaps and data inconsistencies;
- investigating questions of data quality; and
- encouraging cross-national research and data collections.
