Evaluation of Iowa Safe and Drug Free Schools Data System

Project
The Iowa Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program Improvement Grant is a partnership of three state departments (Education, Public Health, and Human Rights); national consultants (David Osher, Roger Weissberg, and Gene Hall); and Iowa’s 12 intermediate education agencies. The three purposes of the project were to evaluate 1) satisfaction with Iowa's Safe and Drug Free Schools data collection systems, 2) processes to support effective data use, and 3) a field test of Iowa's Learning Supports initiative across ten districts.
