Everyone at the Table: Engaging Teachers in Evaluation Reform is a research-based and field-tested practical guide for teachers and school and district leaders that provides materials to genuinely engage teachers in the evaluation process. While there is no magic formula for successfully designing a teacher evaluation system, there is abundant evidence that suggests involving teachers in the process will reduce the likelihood of opposition, gridlock, and reform failure.
Everyone at the Table offers a collaborative approach to designing teacher evaluations. It includes a companion web-based resource, including videos, tools, and templates, at www.everyoneatthetable.org.
The book is a collaboration of the American Institutes for Research and Public Agenda, with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. With this resource, educators will have the tools they need to develop meaningful teacher evaluations.
