Award-Winning Expert Jeffrey Molter Joins the American Institutes for Research

Washington, D.C. – Jeffrey L. Molter, an award-winning health communications expert with extensive experience addressing the needs of health care providers and patients, has joined the American Institutes for Research (AIR) as a member of its senior health communications team. Jeff Molter

Molter, who is based in AIR’s Atlanta office, joins the organization after serving five years as Associate Vice President of Communications at Emory University’s Woodruff Health Sciences Center in Atlanta. Prior to that, Molter held communications roles at the Journal of the American Medical Association, Duke University Medical Center and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He began his career as a newspaper reporter.

Molter serves in the Communication and Social Marketing Practice of AIR’s Health Program, where he will play a strategic role in several national health projects, working with clients in the public, private and independent sectors. He will support AIR’s growing list of health clients, including federal and state agencies, leading foundations and other organizations addressing health and healthcare issues.

Molter has lectured extensively on a number of medical and health issues. His work has received awards from several groups, including: Association of American Medical Colleges, PR Week, Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators and the Publicity Club of Chicago.
