American Institutes for Research Staff to Participate in SREE’s Spring Conference

Washington, D.C. – Staff from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will discuss a wide range of research findings – from the effects on students of taking an online Algebra I course to the impact of classroom instruction – during the Society for Research on Education Effectiveness’ (SREE) Spring Conference, to be held March 8-10, 2012, in Washington, D.C.  The theme for this year’s research conference is Understanding Variation in Treatment Effects.

The conference will discuss the potential differences and applications of methodological tools that are used to assess how different educational intervention components work when applied in a school setting; the groups for whom they are best-suited; and how these varying results may inform educational practice.
