American Institutes for Research Health Experts to Present at the AcademyHealth Research Meeting

Washington, D.C. – Health experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR), including Vice President and Director of the AIR Health Program Marilyn Moon will present at the AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting on June 27 – 29, 2010 at the Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston, MA. AcademyHealth is a professional community of health services researchers and policy analysts who commit to using the best health research to improve health care.

Presentations by AIR staff cover a wide range of research in the health field, including qualitative analysis in health services research, supporting both patient and family engagement in hospital quality and safety, and evidence-based decision making in health reform. The three-day meeting will attract 2,300 health researchers, providers, decision makers, clinicians, graduate students and others from around the world.
