Indigenous Education Resources Compendium
Learn more about AIR's Indigenous Student Identification Project, which works directly with state and local education agencies, Tribes, federal agencies, and national Indigenous education stakeholders.
Efforts to support Indigenous K-12 education are growing across the country. The Indigenous Education Resources Compendium is
- A repository of tools and resources developed to help maximize opportunities and address challenges in Indigenous education at the local and state levels; and
- A hub for models and initiatives that can be replicated, expanded, and strengthened to enhance the educational experiences of Indigenous students, their families, and communities.
The Compendium was developed by the Indigenous Education State Leaders Network and its supporters with funding from the AIR Opportunity Fund. It is designed for educators, policymakers, and organizations seeking to navigate key topics such as legislation, Tribal consultation, language revitalization, and Native student outcomes.
By accessing and sharing these resources, you can help grow a nationwide network committed to Indigenous self-determination in education.
