Susan Joy

Susan Joy has more than 20 years’ experience in health policy with specific expertise in Medicare payment policy, policy analysis, data analysis and research. Her work at AIR has encompassed leadership roles in Medicare Advantage program integrity projects, and strategy and business development roles.

In previous roles Susan worked in consulting, government, and academic settings. From these roles she brings knowledge of Medicare Advantage policy, network adequacy, CMS Innovation Center models, evaluation methods, rural health, patient preference research, and alcohol and other drug policy. She has published more than a dozen journal articles and numerous reports for government and foundation clients.
