Peter Mabli
Peter Mabli is a senior technical assistance consultant in the Education Statistics division at AIR, with over fifteen years of experience in public history and social studies education. His primary responsibilities include supporting and leading standards revision and professional development projects for state and local education agencies, with a focus on history, civics, and social studies curriculum implementation.
Previously, Dr. Mabli served as director of online programs at the American Social History Project, a public history research organization based at the City University of New York. He has assisted in the facilitation of projects for the NYC Department of Education, The WNET Group, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, among others.
Dr. Mabli is also a professor of history at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he teaches courses in U.S. history and the history of New Jersey. He holds a doctorate in American History with a focus on the intersections between food culture and national identity formation in the early American Republic.
