Mike Trinh

Senior Data Scientist

Mike Trinh has nearly a decade of experience developing web applications, designing ETL systems, and analyzing data with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Trinh has also been involved in data analysis using novel methods. He has extensive experience with the Python, JavaScript, Java, and C# programming languages. He has experience using the NodeJS, Django, and PHP back-end environments as well as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases. Trinh has designed front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, Tk, and Qt.

Trinh’s contributions to modernizing annual reports for the National Center for Education Statistics streamlined the process for creating products such as tables and figures. He utilized the latest AI models to improve searchability of National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics web publications. For the Alliance of Community Health Plans, Trinh used cloud computing technology to automate web scraping and data processing to generate data for numerous dashboards on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
