Margaret Collins

Senior Database Specialist

Margaret Collins has over 35 years of experience with data collection in health research. Over these years, she has served as technical lead in many clinical trials and research projects for CDC, NIH, CMS, DOL, and state-level and private agencies. She has led the technical area of projects including database administration, application design and development, quality control, and security. The types of data collection on these projects include paper, web, telephone, and in person. 

Collins’s role in each project varies, including database administrator, data analyst, technical lead, system analyst, project manager, and technical project manager. In larger projects, she has overseen the work of up to ten remote developers. Reporting and data processing platforms she has used include SAS, SQL Server, Snowflake, DB2, and Teradata. Other software that Collins has used for data collection include Blaise, SPSS mrInterview, Illume, and Voxco.
