Daniel Frederking is a senior technical assistance consultant at AIR. His work centers around district and school improvement practices including needs assessments, strategic planning, and progress monitoring. He has served in this capacity as a consultant to school districts, higher education institutions, and state departments across the country. He also specializes in improving educator data literacy and has worked with educators at all levels to improve their use of data to make decisions.
Prior to joining AIR, Frederking was a consultant and coordinator in the student assessment division of the Illinois State Board of Education as well as a high school language arts teacher in two different Illinois districts.
