Christine Jones
Christine Jones is a mixed-methods researcher with over 18 years of experience in public health, health policy, program evaluation, and health services research. She has led federal research efforts focused on implementing and evaluating health system change, policy analysis, and patient-centered outcomes for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Agency for Health Research and Quality, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Veterans Health Administration and the Department of Defense. She has developed methodology for and conducted multiple evaluations to assess the impact of federal funded programs. She recently led a research study evaluating the impact of Medicaid policies on reducing racial disparities in maternal health outcomes and has conducted multiple studies focused on implementing and assessing patient-centered outcomes research.
Jones is an expert in conducting literature reviews and environmental scans, conducting key informant interviews, convening advisory panels, and devising engagement and communication mechanisms for diverse stakeholder audiences. She has led the development of clinical practice guidelines and brings expertise in incorporating lived-experience into health care research. She has developed communication plans, managed meeting strategy and logistics, conducted need assessments, created public comment tracking systems, and developed a wide variety of communication products for various audiences.
Jones is the project director for HRSA’s Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Board of Directors Support Contract which focuses on OPTN Board governance, oversight, management, and strategic planning as well as supporting the OPTN Board and its committees in their responsibilities, including network governance, establishing policies for organ procurement and allocation, maintaining and monitoring membership standards, and overseeing operations and quality improvement.
Previously, Jones was a managing consultant at The Lewin Group and, before that, a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to that, she worked at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
