Ashley Roberts

Senior Researcher

Ashley Roberts is a senior researcher at AIR. She is the project director for the Federal Interagency Forums work at AIR which supports the production of the annual America’s Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being report by the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics and the Older Americans: Key Indicators of Well-Being report by the Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics. In this role, Roberts supervises a team of five in workflow and meeting deliverables and coordinates the production schedule, external reviews, internal quality control reviews, and the desktopping process of each report. Additionally, she oversees data file management, data checks, and management of data file exchanges and information flow among two dozen federal statistical agencies.

Roberts provides research and analysis support for the National Center for Education Statistics’ (NCES) work in international education comparisons. Her responsibilities include the analysis and submission of U.S. education statistics data as part of international data collections by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for their annual publication, Education at a Glance. In this role, Roberts assists in preparing data submissions and reviews draft text, tables, and figures for Education at a Glance. Roberts is also represents the United States at biannual international meetings as a member of two OECD indicator development groups, the OECD Working Party and the OECD Network on Labor Market, Economic and Social Outcomes.
