The District and School Improvement Center helps school districts and schools achieve a coherent, disciplined approach to teaching and learning that is embedded throughout school and district practices; improve school climate and culture; develop more effective teachers and leaders; foster improved parent and community engagement; and create higher expectations and results for all students.

Our work is based on a school improvement framework that is grounded in research and evidence, and informed and refined by practice. We know how to plan and implement effective school improvement strategies in a variety of settings. Our experts are former district leaders, principals, and teachers—we have real-world experience leading successful improvement initiatives in schools and districts just like yours. We understand how hard this work can be because we have done it ourselves; that’s why we have a hands-on philosophy when it comes to district and school improvement. We work with you, side by side, to deliver the support you need to build a sustainable education system and achieve your improvement goals.

Our approach is grounded on our School Improvement Path, harnesses our research-based Framework for Systemic Improvement, and has been proven to deliver results.
