Since 2007, the MTSS Center has been a national leader in supporting states, districts, and schools across the country in implementing tiered support systems that address students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
The National Reentry Resource Center (operated by AIR from 2019-2023) supports the provision of a comprehensive response to the adults and juveniles who leave prisons, jails and juvenile residential facilities and return to their communities with support from the Second Chance Act.
The State Support Network was a technical assistance initiative of the U.S. Department of Education, Office of State Support, operated from 2016 to 2020 and designed to support state and district school improvement efforts.
From 2012-2019, the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center) was a national content center under the federally funded Comprehensive Center Network, providing support to state education agencies and districts in all 50 states.
The Corrections and Community Engagement Technical Assistance Center (CCETAC) at AIR aimed to address challenges through evidence-based approaches. Through CCETAC, AIR provided capacity-building training and technical assistance to Category 1 Second Chance Act grantees.
