Tandrea Hilliard
Tandrea Hilliard is a health care policy senior researcher at AIR. Dr. Hilliard has more than ten years of research experience in chronic disease prevention and management, patient-centered care, and health disparities.
At AIR, Dr. Hilliard leads analysis tasks for several large-scale evaluations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Health Insurance Marketplace Enrollee Satisfaction Survey, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Care Coordination Quality Measure for Primary Care, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Scientific Survey Services projects. Dr. Hilliard also contributes substantively as a content expert and writer in proposal development efforts.
Dr. Hilliard is a mixed-methods researcher with extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, management, analysis, dissemination and translation. She has substantial experience in managing and analyzing large databases (e.g., complex survey data, Medicare claims), community-based participatory research, recruitment and retention of vulnerable populations in research, and project management. Her research background also includes large-scale clinical trials management, and collecting and analyzing biomedical and electronic health records data. Dr. Hilliard has significant experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, including interview guide development, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and cognitive testing.
