Molly Soule Fenster is a researcher at AIR. In her current position, Fenster is responsible for overseeing two high-profile websites for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and for providing editorial reviews and quality assurance for a range of NCES publications. She has in-depth knowledge of state education reform issues, which she applies to her work monitoring and updating NCES’s State Education Reforms site. Fenster also maintains the NCES Fast Facts site. She is responsible for updating over 60 indicators annually, and for creating new indicators to reflect emerging educational issues. In previous work for AIR, she served as a technical reviewer of NCES documents, ensuring statistical quality, adherence to standards, as well as readability and relevance to intended audiences.
Prior to joining AIR, Fenster taught English as a Second Language in Japan and was a Learning Specialist at a middle school in Washington, DC.
