Michael P. Cohen
Michael P. Cohen is a principal psychometrician/statistician at AIR. He is a member of the Center for Survey Methods. He has over 32 years’ experience in complex survey design and estimation, including sample design, imputation, variances, sample size and power determination, and weighting. This experience includes 13 years at the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) of the U.S. Department of Education, where he consulted on all their major surveys.
Dr. Cohen graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego, and has a Ph.D. in mathematics (specialty: statistics) from UCLA.
