Jeremy Redford

Jeremy Redford is a principal researcher in the National and International Statistics practice area within the Research and Evaluation program at AIR. His primary responsibilities include leading the Data Development Program project that authors statistical reports for the National Center for Education Statistics. Redford also provides expertise in survey design, statistical analysis, and data file management for the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Kindergarten Class of 2010-11 and the Middle Grades Longitudinal Study of 2017-18.

Redford’s work on the Midwest REL provided technical assistance to local and state education agencies, and he co-led two survey methods in education workshops that will be published by the Institute for Education Sciences as a facilitator’s guide. Redford is a doctoral candidate at George Mason University, where he is specializing in education policy and research methods. Redford has extensive experience in survey design and secondary data analysis with large, complex samples. His areas of research interest are in parent and family involvement in education, inequality, the history of education, survey design, and statistical analysis.
