Jennifer Anthony

Senior Researcher

Jennifer Anthony, a senior researcher at AIR, has worked on a range of research and evaluation projects for local, state and federal agencies. Her areas of expertise include early childhood education and child development, and secondary school policy and reform. She is experienced in designing and conducting needs assessments, data collection and analysis, survey protocol development, technical assistance, cost analyses, and report writing. As task lead on the Study of California’s Transitional Kindergarten Program for the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and Heising-Simons Foundation, Anthony is responsible for organizing and conducting site visits that involve conducting interviews of district personnel, elementary school principals and teachers, parent focus groups, and classroom observations. She is also a co-lead of the case study task for the Hewlett Study of Deeper Learning for the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, which involves interviews with network leaders, high school principals and staff, and student focus groups.
