Dalia Zabala is a senior technical assistance consultant at AIR. She provides support and assistance to states and school districts on educator quality topics and is working to support implementation of state equitable access plans. Through the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders, Zabala contributes to the Equitable Access to Excellent Educators Initiative, is part of a team leading cross-district communities of practice working to improve the use of information to support teaching and learning, and coordinates the participation of a Practitioner Advisory Group which consists of educators from across the country. Zabala is also part of AIR’s College and Career Readiness and Success Center where she contributes in efforts to promote the integration of employability skills.
Zabala has worked in education, research, and policy with 10 years of experience in Washington, D.C. where she has worked with the Center on Education Policy, the American Federation of Teachers, and most recently with the New Teacher Center.
