In 2006, the USAID-funded Malawi Teacher Training Activity (MTTA) created the Mphamvu Kwa Achinyamata (MKA) or “Power to the Youth” clubs, to support USAID efforts at promoting school-based HIV and AIDS prevention education in Malawi.
