New Look, Enduring Commitment: Advancing Evidence, Improving Lives for 75 Years

Image of new AIR logoSince 1946, the American Institutes for Research (AIR) has been working to improve lives by connecting research and practice, and championing the use of evidence to create a better, more equitable world. As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we are excited to unveil our new visual identity and corporate website to reflect where we are and where we are headed.

Our new logo and brand statement—Advancing Evidence, Improving Lives—represents AIR’s history of bridging research and practice to solve the world’s biggest challenges, and allowing evidence to guide the way toward solutions. Our new website uses best practices in web design and user experience to tell the story of our expertise, our capabilities, and our work, and make sure our users can easily find the information they need.

We hope you’ll take some time to explore our new site, and get to know some of the leading experts in the field and view insights on the mission-focused work they are doing in the areas of education, health, workforce, and international development. Learn about our broad capabilities in research, evaluation, technical assistance, and data science. And find out why AIR is a great place for people to build a career and do their best work.

You can also learn about our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Cultural Competency both inside our organization and in the work we do with partners, clients, and communities. And you can get to know the AIR Equity Initiative, an investment of more than $100 million over the next five years to generate and use evidence to address the social and economic inequities that arise from systemic segregation and inequality.

We want to hear from you. If you have thoughts, ideas, or questions, please contact us. And make sure to sign up for our newsletter to get the latest evidence delivered right to your inbox.
