On June 3, 2021, the Center for English Learners at AIR hosted a webinar on our evidence-based, research-backed, and classroom-tested language and literacy program for preschoolers. In the webinar, Dr. Patricia García-Arena, principal researcher, and Rebecca Bergey, senior researcher, shared study findings and introduced the new COLLTS curriculum, targeted instructional strategies, teacher-friendly materials, and built-in professional learning.

On April 22, 2021, the Institute for Educational Leadership, AIR, and a panel of regional and global business leaders met for a discussion about the benefits to the business community in serving customers with disabilities. The panelists discussed business strategies for inclusion of people with disabilities and their families, from design to marketing to hiring.

In a policy brief released in the early stages of the COVID pandemic in June 2020, the Evidence Consortium on Women’s Groups examined the implications of the pandemic and the lockdown for women’s groups. What have we learned since then? On April 13 at 9 a.m. EDT, the ECWG held a discussion on women’s groups and COVID, with the Africa Centre for Systematic Reviews, AIR, the Population Council, and the World Bank.
