Survey Design

AIR is one of three CAHPS II grantees. CAHPS is a multiyear, nationwide effort sponsored primarily by AHQR and CMS to standardize patient reports of health care for the purpose of providing comparative data on health care services to consumers. AIR's work under CAHPS II includes the development of surveys and data reporting methods. Of particular note is our work to develop data collection and reporting methods that are valid for use with vulnerable populations and racial or ethnic minorities.
