Publication Services

Publication Services provides a wide range of document production services including editing and proofreading, business graphics production, visual presentations, desktop publishing, database publishing, and printing procurement. Our professional staff of editors, proofreaders, desktop publishers, graphics specialists, and production managers is supported by a comprehensive library of advanced software applications and hardware resources. These resources comprise both personal computer (PC) and Macintosh (Mac) platforms.

Work by the Publications Services team has included support contracts for the development of monographs. For NCI's Tobacco Control Monograph Series, AIR's work includes developing a new layout, design, and style sheet for the series; arranging author and editor meetings; acting as a liaison with authors, volume editors, and reviewers; providing research support for authors; copyediting; and desktopping.
