Over the years, AIR has developed and implemented a number of national and state programs aimed at improving the nutritional status of many groups including children, women and minorities. Working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Cancer Institute, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, AIR has development dietary approaches to prevent and manage obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer.
