Continuous Assessment

AIR has introduced continuous assessment as a tool for the professional development of teachers. Continuous assessment is an on-going, diagnostic, classroom-based process that uses a variety of assessment tools to measure learner performance. Used by teachers, this process is intended to improve teachers' capacity to identify what learners know and can do, as well as improve teachers' instructional practice. Information gathered from continuous assessment provides user-friendly feedback to parents and other stakeholders.
