Child Labor

Efforts to increase children’s access to a quality education are part and parcel of global efforts to prevent or reduce child labor in developing countries.  AIR is currently working to raise awareness and support the efforts of local organizations and host country governments to increase access of working children to educational services, whether formal or informal. Target groups include child herders, domestic servants, HIV/AIDS orphans, street children, and young farm workers.
