Julia Wu is a researcher at AIR. Her professional interests focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that address health promotion at multiple levels. She has experience with federally-funded projects and program evaluations in the areas of health care services research, early childhood intervention, healthy aging, oral health, intimate partner violence prevention, and teen pregnancy prevention.
At AIR, Wu has managed and led a qualitative research task for an evaluation of an electronic consultation system used by medical providers in a large safety net system in California. She currently contributes to projects related to patient and consumer engagement in health care and policy; and survey development to assess consumer experiences with dental insurance purchased through the Health Insurance Marketplaces.
