Alicia C. Eberl-Lefko has more than 15 years of experience in the development of health communication, health education and training, and social marketing initiatives and programs for audiences including consumers, public health professionals, and the media. As an experienced project manager, she oversees project, client and financial management activities for large, complex federal and state contracts. Alicia served as the project director supporting the Act Against AIDS campaign, a five-year Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initiative designed to refocus national attention on the HIV crisis in the United States. She was also deputy project director for AIR’s comprehensive communication support contract with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Her areas of specialty include bioterrorism, pandemic influenza, infectious diseases and emergency risk communication.
