Don Mullins oversees the technical writing and clearinghouse/call center teams for AIR. He brings 27 years of experience in managing, developing, coordinating, and operating science and health information dissemination programs. He is experienced in technology application to technical and scientific information dissemination programs, including communications program planning, development, and implementation. Mullins has designed response centers, including overseeing information center setup, operations, and maintenance. He also has expertise in Web site and materials design, testing, and development.
Prior to joining AIR he was involved in the management of a variety of health communications efforts for the government. He directed two Web development projects at the Food and Drug Administration, and managed teams that configured and developed content management systems to streamline the posting of information on Web sites. For Prospect Associates, Mr. Mullins directed the Information Services business area that operated six national health information clearinghouses. He also has provided consulting services to government and national organizations in information center planning and operations where he designed and developed computerized tracking systems and Web sites. He also served as director of communications for the National Center for Education in Maternal and Child Health.
