Senior Research Scientist
Kelley Krokos, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at AIR in Washington, D.C. Dr. Krokos’ expertise and interests focus on defining, measuring, and improving individual and team job performance in “extreme environments” jobs. Currently she is assisting in the development of a software program designed to assist Navy pilots to develop better measures of individual and team level performance for use in debriefing training exercises. This research takes the best of what is known in the academic literature regarding team performance and translates it into a user-friendly tool. She is also assisting in the development of a national certification exam for electrical workers. Prior to joining AIR, Dr. Krokos worked for the U.S. Coast Guard, the North Carolina Department of Correction, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
