Vice President and Director of the Assessment Program

Dr. Jon Cohen is Vice President and Director of the Assessment Program. His areas of expertise include analysis of data from complex samples, parametric and non-parametric modeling, time series, and measurement models. Substantively, he has dealt with primary and secondary education, educational reform, adult education, economics of higher education, personnel turnover, and economic issues arising from corporate mergers and regulation. His responsibilities include project management, study design, sampling, survey instrument development, statistical analysis, software design and development. Dr. Cohen often reviews the more advanced statistical studies done at the organization, as well as technical aspects of proposals and sample designs.
