Researchers from the American Institutes for Research to Present at Biennial Meeting of the Society for Research in Child Development

 

Washington, D.C. - Researchers from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will present at the biennial meeting of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), which will take place from April 2-4, 2009 in Denver, Colo.

AIR researchers’ presentations focus on topics such as classroom quality, evidence-based early literacy practices, children’s emotional development, parent-child interactive reading activities, and findings from the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study.

SRCD holds a conference once every two years and acceptance for presentation is highly competitive. It is a professional association devoted to promoting multidisciplinary research in the field of human development, with approximately 5,500 members from over 50 countries.
