Washington, D.C. - On Tuesday, June 12, 2007 experts for the American Institutes for Research (AIR), the Center on Education Policy (CEP) and the RAND Corporation will discuss "Assessing Accountability Under the No Child Left Behind Act," based upon major findings from multi-year studies of the federal law.
The conference will be held at the Cafritz Conference Center on the campus of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The program will consist of four presentations, with the opportunity for questions and discussion. Dr. Kerstin Le Floch, a principal research analyst at AIR, will discuss on how states differ in their accountability systems, school identification and the support provided.
Other participants in the conference include: Jack Jennings and Catlin Scott of CEP and Brian Stecher and Laura Hamilton of RAND.
