Our work

The Silver Spring office's focus on health research and communications has led to many award-winning programs that have informed particular audiences about ways to prevent illness and injury.

Services encompass program development, research and evaluation, communication and social marketing, and information management. We support federal and state agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic medical centers, and private sector firms.

From Northern Viriginia and Montgomery County

• Take I-95 North/I-495 East towards Baltimore and Silver Spring
• Take exit 30A, Columbia/Silver Spring, Route 29 North/Colesville Road towards Columbia
• Just past University Boulevard (193) you will see a Citgo gas station on your right
• Turn left at the gas station into the Choice Center parking lot
• Proceed to building 10720 and you are there
• Once you are in the lobby, buzz the receptionist and then take the elevator to the 5th floor

From Reagan International Airport (DCA)
Approximate time: 34 minutes. Distance: 14.9 miles.

• Leave the airport heading north on the George Washington Memorial Parkway towards Washington DC and Maryland
• Stay on the George Washington Memorial Parkway towards Maryland -- do not exit at any of the Washington DC exits
• In approximately 8 miles, exit from the George Washington Memorial Parkway onto the Capital Beltway, I-495 North, into Maryland
• Continue on Capital Beltway (I-495 North) approximately 8 miles
• Take US-29 North. This is Columbia Pike
• Shortly past the University Boulevard intersection, you will see a Citgo gas station on your right
• Turn left into the Choice Center driveway opposite the gas station
• Make an immediate right turn and park in front of the 1st building, 10720
• A parking garage is also available for your use directly adjacent to the 10720 building
• Once you are in the lobby, buzz the AIR receptionist and then take the elevator to the 5th floor

From Baltimore International Airport (BWI)
Approximate time: 36 minutes. Distance: 28.9 miles.

• Start going towards the Airport exit on Metropolitan Blvd
• Take the I-95 South ramp towards Washington about 20.6 miles
• Exit at Route 198 West towards Burtonsville
• Turn left onto Route 29 South. This is Columbia Pike
• Shortly past the New Hampshire exit you will see a Mobil Gas station on your right
• Turn right into the Choice Center driveway immediately after the gas station
• Make an immediate left and continue to the 3rd building, 10720
• Once you are in the lobby, buzz the receptionist and then take the elevator to the 5th floor

From Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Approximate time: 34 minutes. Distance: 23.5 miles.

• Take the VA-267 East/12-13-14 ramp towards Reston about 11.1 miles
• Follow the ramp to I-495 North towards Baltimore/Bethesda MD
• Continue on Capital Beltway about 11.9 miles
• Take US-29 North. This is Columbia Pike.
• Shortly past the New Hampshire exit you will see a Mobil Gas station on your left
• Turn left into the Choice Center driveway immediately after the gas station
• Make an immediate left and continue to the 3rd building, 10720
